A Critique of our ordinary Scientific Views : Hegel on the Proposition concerning "Identity"

Hegel's Science of Logic has been interpreted variously. For instance K. Popper argued that Hegel's dialectic in Science of Logic was logic which had a relation to progress of social and natural sciences. And he expressed sharp criticism to Hegel's Logic. However his criticism was not directly on the basis of Hegel's dialectic, but on the basis of Marx's dialectic. In this paper, I oppose such an interpretation concerning Hegel's Logic, and I would like to interpret Hegel's Logic as logic which is to criticize to the thought process of our ordinary scientific views. For the purpose of that interpretation, I treat Hegel's view on "Essentiality" in Science of Logic and investigate into the proposition on "Identity". In Hegel's argument, identity and difference are united into one, and Hegel insists that identity is separated from difference through our ordinary thought process
